Course Description:
The program is designed to help high school students who have an interest in pursuing a career in food service gain an understanding of the industry through education as well as direct exposure. In the kitchen (located on YVCC campus) students create their own food products from scratch. Culinary Arts prepares students for jobs as personal chefs, catering operations, line chefs, bakers, servers, wine stewards, and managers.
