• Real World Training- Located on a Yakima Fire Station

• "Hands On" - Live fire, and equipment training.

• "College Credit" - 30 college credits at Yakima Valley Community College.

Employment Outlook:

Jobs are available in structural firefighting, wild land firefighting, aircraft and shipboard firefighting as well as emergency medical responders, communications, fire prevention, public education and building inspection.

Employers are seeking graduates of this program who are self-starters, enthusiastic, responsible, and who can operate as part of a team. Employees are expected to be neat in appearance, be punctual, and display empathy for patients and victims.
