Employment Outlook:

Certified Nursing Assistant graduates are in high demand. Every Yakima Valley Technical Skills Center student who obtains their NAC and wants employment will find ample opportunities in Washington State. Students can work days, evenings, nights, and weekends with a variety of shift options.

Employment Expectations:

An employee must be certified as a Nursing Assistant. You need to be in good health, have a good attendance pattern and a positive attitude. You will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds. It is necessary to be literate in English and have normal hearing.
